What we do

Water surveying

We survey your property before any drilling to work out where water is most likely to be. We tell you what the survey finds before we drill. We stand behind our surveys: 98% accurate, in our experience.

Borehole drilling

We drill at the spot the survey points to. The depth depends on the ground under your property, so it is not a fixed package.

Pump installation

We fit a pump that suits your borehole and connect it to where you want the water: the house, a tank or the garden.

  1. Survey

We start on your property, before any drilling. We study the ground, work out where water is most likely to be and tell you what we find. We stand behind our surveys: 98% accurate, in our experience.

  2. Drill

Drilling starts at the spot the survey points to. The depth depends on the ground under your property, so we do not promise a number before we know.

  3. Pump

We fit a pump that suits your borehole and connect it to where you want the water: your house, a tank or the garden.

FAQ

Questions before you call

How does a site survey work?

Someone visits your property, looks at the ground and the lay of the land, and works out where water is most likely to be and where to drill. We tell you what the survey finds before any drilling starts.

What decides how deep the borehole goes?

The ground under your property. Rock and water sit differently from one plot to the next, so the depth depends on what the survey and the drilling find on yours.

What affects the cost?

Mainly how deep we have to drill, the ground we drill through, the pump you choose and how far the water has to travel to reach your tank or taps. Send us your details and we will come back with a quote.

How long does drilling take?

It depends on the ground. Soft ground goes faster than hard rock. Once your property has been surveyed we can give you a realistic idea.

Which pump do I need, and how do I look after it?

That depends on how much water your borehole gives and what you use it for: the house, the garden or both. Keep an eye on your water pressure and on any change in how the water runs, and call us early if something changes.

What do I need to do beforehand?

Decide where you want the water to go, make sure the drilling vehicle can get onto the property, and tell us about any pipes, cables or structures under the ground. We will go through the rest when we speak.

Tell us where you are. We will take it from there.
